Vail Honeywagon has partnered with community hosts to establish conveniently located drop sites for residents who would like to participate in the compost program. It is a membership-based program that requires a commitment to follow composting guidelines in exchange for access to the secure drop site containers. Residential compost is managed through the Residential Drop-site Programs and at the Honeywagon Compost facility in Wolcott.
We are producing a great compost that can be found at the following local garden supply companies:
Customers who need large amounts of compost delivered or that would like to pick up a truck or trailer load
Customers who want a small amount of compost or boutique potting soil
Come to our facility during operating hours to pick up your complimentary bags of compost -- we will provide burlap bags and a shovel for self-service pick up. Customer will need to provide last name or account number to operator when they arrive
